Collaborating with the homeowner and Mr. Finnegan of Finnegan Contracting, Inc., Humphrey's Kitchen Design Team developed a layout that maximizes the house's open, airy floor plan and fully captures waterviews. Measuring 10 ft. wide x 20 ft. long, the highly functional kitchen now occupies a new space along the home's north wall with direct views.

Creating a culinary space that grants plenty of elbow room was a top priority for the homeowner who is an avid baker. Therefore, Humphrey's fulfilled this wish with an oversized island offering spacious storage and dressed with a Quartz surface. The stone's non-stick properties are ideal for creating delectable pastries and other homemade goodies with ease. The alpha-brown colored Quartz sits atop a ten-foot long series of Dura Supreme maple cabinets. Each Craftsman beaded panel door is painted off-white and finished with an espresso glaze. Another 21 matching cabinets and drawers surround the island along the l-shaped kitchen's perimeter.
Although the island serves as this kitchen's focal point, its elevated stone top provides seating for eight plus houses a dishwasher, sink and two extra large cabinets. Inside, this baker's beloved recipe books, pans and other essential tools are conveniently stored.
